1. What this site is

TrainingForge is a study aid. It gives practice questions, explanations, mock tests and a readiness estimate for licence, permit and certification knowledge tests.

TrainingForge is not a school, a training provider, a testing centre or a government agency. We do not give a licence, permit, certificate, endorsement, card or credential of any kind, and we do not give training hours or credit that any agency accepts.

2. No connection with any agency

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Federal Communications Commission, the NCVEC or any Volunteer Examiner Coordinator, the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the United States Coast Guard, any state motor vehicle agency, or any other government body or testing organisation.

Names of agencies, tests and credentials are used only to identify the tests that a course helps you study for.

3. The content can contain errors

We write our questions and explanations from public sources, such as regulations, government handbooks and state manuals, and we check them with care. But the content can contain errors, omissions or out-of-date information. Rules, manuals, question pools and test formats change, sometimes without notice, and our content can fall behind them.

The official source is always the authority. If our content and an official source do not agree, the official source is correct. Before you rely on any fact, examine the current official publication or ask the agency that gives the test.

Answers from the AI tutor are generated automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete or not applicable to you. Do not rely on them without checking the official source.

4. No guarantee of a result

We do not guarantee that you will pass any test. Scores on our practice tests and the readiness estimate are not a prediction of your result on a real test. Your result depends on many things that we do not control, such as the questions you get, the version of the test, and your own preparation.

If you fail a test, or you must pay a fee again, travel again, wait for a new test date, or lose time, a job, a sale or any other opportunity, we are not responsible for it.

5. Not professional advice, and not a substitute for required training

The content is general education only. It is not legal, immigration, aviation, maritime, workplace safety, medical or other professional advice.

Many credentials need training, flight time, sea time, a course by an authorised provider, a background check or a medical examination. Our courses do not replace any of these. For example, an OSHA 10 or 30 card comes only from an OSHA-authorised trainer, and a boater education card comes only from a course that your state accepts.

Do not use this site to make decisions when you operate a vehicle, an aircraft, a vessel, a radio station or equipment, or when you work in a hazardous place. For those decisions, use the current official rules, your training, and the instructions of your instructor, employer or the manufacturer.

6. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Give a true email address, keep your password secret, and do not share your account. You are responsible for all use of your account. Tell us immediately if you think that another person has used it.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we think is used for abuse.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. The price is shown before you pay. A subscription renews each month until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time from your account page. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. We do not give refunds or partial refunds for a month that has started, except when the law requires it or when we decide to give one.

We can change prices. A change applies from your next renewal after we tell you about it. We can change, add or remove courses, questions and features at any time.

8. How you can use the content

You can use the site for your own study. Do not copy, collect, scrape, download in bulk, sell, publish or share our questions, explanations or other content, and do not use automated tools to get access to the site.

The site, its design and its questions and explanations belong to us. Text that we quote from public-domain sources, such as federal regulations, stays in the public domain.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE GIVEN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT A WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH INCLUDES WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE, FREE OF ERRORS OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, INCOME, OPPORTUNITY, DATA OR GOODWILL, THAT COME FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR FROM ANY ERROR IN ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT THE SITE IS NOT MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT CAUSED THE CLAIM.

Some places do not permit some of these limits. In those places, the limits apply as far as the law permits.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless TrainingForge and Bottomley Enterprises from claims, losses and costs, which include reasonable legal fees, that come from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the changed terms. If a change is important, we will tell account holders by email or on the site.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Bottomley Enterprises has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If a court finds that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts stay in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, that is not a waiver of it. These terms are the full agreement between you and us about the site.
